Galaxy S24 Ultra: How PetaPixel (and Other Photographers) Keep Getting Android Cameras Wrong…

So help me I’m doing a reaction video. The end is nigh.

Following Samsung’s Unpacked event, the guys at PetaPixel had a lot of thoughts to share about the S24 Ultra. During a recent podcast, they asked:

“Is AI camera tech enough to warrant a new phone model, since there wasn’t any change in the hardware?”

Which is a pretty complicated topic to dig into. While the gents had a lot to say about Samsung (and Samsung’s competition), I felt they also missed some key points.

So here we are. I’m responding to a podcast.

I AM SO SORRY. Continue reading “Galaxy S24 Ultra: How PetaPixel (and Other Photographers) Keep Getting Android Cameras Wrong…”

#SGGQA 331 – OnePlus 12 is Here, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, Apple AirDrop is NOT Secure, Net Neutrality Needs YOUR Support!

Tons of tech news to cover today!

The OnePlus 12 and 12R are IN the GadgetLab, but let’s talk about embargoes. I recently reviewed the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Apple’s AirDrop is apparently not secure, and hasn’t been for years. Apple is also bullying devs and journalists to ONLY use certain words to describe their VR headset. Plus, all those fines Big Tech received last year? Those fines were paid off in DAYS.

Wednesday is the last day to support Net Neutrality! Here’s how you can send a message to the FCC!
