As a response to the question asked in the podcase and on mastodon:
I do have 3 phones that have the ability to use a desktop mode.
A rooted Samsung note 9, Samsung s20 FE and a Huawei mate 30 pro.
The best one is in my opinion DEX on the s20 FE. But my mate 30 pro has been converted into a mini pc as it’s screen is broken. It has a cooler attached to the back and therefor does not throttle when running apps. BUT the DEX UI is a bit better for “pc use”
I have a couple emulators on the mate 30 pro. Which are great on a big screen!
(sorry for going a bit off-topic)
/Oliver
On my s20+ Yes, but that’s kinda cheating with Dex and I’ve screen shared to TV’s before.
Not as smooth with the pixel8
