AI researchers say our current progress on AI is a dead end. The Trump administration is firing the Democrats at the FTC. France rejects proposals for tech backdoors. Plex is raising prices.

Google showed off a new phone, but we dont know exactly when you can buy it.

GoChess Mini Review: The World’s Smartest Chess Board?

GoChess Mini Review! Particula advertises this as the smartest chess board on the market! Can it hang with a precocious nine year old?

Just because I know how to move all the pieces, does NOT mean I really know how to play. This is the company that also sent over some “smart” Rubik’s cubes, and the attention to details is on display again here. This is a REALLY nice board, and it has some REALLY fun tricks.

#SGGQA 388 Desktop Mode Coming to Android, Google Play Games on PC, Tesla Autopilot Drives Through Walls

There’s a court case pushing back against the FCC dropping a popular rule against robocalls. The former director of a rural broadband plan speaks out against satellite solutions, while the EU looks to replace Starlink in Ukraine. Meta has succeeded in halting the promotion of a book written by a former employee, but that seems to be more advertising FOR the book. A court case sets precedent that AI generated content can not claim fair use if the AI is trained on copyrighted material.

Google showed off the Play Games on PC at GDC, and there’s more rumbling AGAIN about a desktop mode coming to Android 16, or 17, or maybe 18…

And we have to chuckle at that Tesla driving through a wall test!

Vivo X200 Pro Camera Conclusion: The Best Premium Phone Camera of 2025!

The Vivo X200 Pro deserves a higher tier of discussion, because it’s capable of a higher tier of output.

While Samsung, Apple, and Google sleep on camera hardware upgrades in the United States, companies like Vivo, Honor, Xiaomi, and Huawei are delivering exciting upgrades.

Unfortunately, in a year where many manufacturers are trying to find ways to keep costs in check, the X200 Pro can’t be a total feature-for-feature improvement over the X100 Pro.

Would someone be happier with an X100 Pro on a discount? We’ve got a lot to talk about…

Apple dodges another Apple Watch ban, and they are delaying new AI features for the iPhone. Microsoft and OpenAI might be going through a rough patch. Google still needs to sell off divisions to satisfy the DOJ. DVD’s are apparently rotting, and not all can be replaced. The Pixel 4a could be having a Note 7 moment.
