Yup. This phone is big. This phone is a little more fragile. This phone is expensive.
And this is the most fun I’ve had with a phone review in a while.
Crazy new hardware should change our behavior and offer real new features. I’m happy to see LG play with a radical new form factor and still consider useful new features!

A TON of older Android phones are about to have a harder time browsing the internet. A factory fire at AKM is making audio gear significantly more expensive. Samsung just beat Apple in sales in the USA.

A gadget’s name is important. Branding takes time to establish, and it serves as a shortcut for consumers. A potential customer doesn’t need to analyze every aspect of the gadget. If they liked SmartyPhone5, when it’s time to upgrade, they’ll probably like SmartyPhone7.
When a company changes their naming, or pivots from that strategy, it can cause confusion. Confusion in this market is often bad for sales. We should always be concerned about how a company presents a product.
