Lenovo Offers Up New Android Tablet and Windows Gaming PC’s

Lenovo TAB S8_1Lenovo has led the PC market in sales for five consecutive quarters, while also making substantial gains with their tablet offerings.

At IFA in Berlin, Lenovo took the wraps off of their first Intel powered Android tablet and some new gear for gamers.

The Tab S8 has an 8″ full HD screen (1920×1200) powered by an Intel Atom quad-core processor. The screen is bordered by tiny bezels with front facing stereo speakers, there’s an 8MP rear shooter, and features 2GB of RAM with 16GB of storage.

Base model will be available in September for $199, and there will be an LTE enabled model released later.

Also announced were a pair of gaming PC’s.

The Y70 Touch is Lenovo’s first gaming laptop with a touchscreen. A 17″ screen HD touchscreen is paired up with an Intel Core i7 and options for discreet NVIDIA GTX graphics processors. JBL speakers are on board, and options include up to 16GB of RAM and either a 1TB hybrid SSHD or 256GB SSD.

Lenovo Erazer X315_6The ERAZER X315 is a new entry in Lenovo’s affordable desktop line. AMD Radeon R9 graphics are on board, built in support for 7.1 surround sound, a futuristic case with LED lighting, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of SSHD storage.

The Y70 will available in October with prices starting at $1299, and the ERAZER X315 will launch in November starting at $599. Full Lenovo PR below.

$199. At 8-inches, the TAB S8’s 1920×1200 infinity screen is sharper than FHD, while the One Glass Solution touch-panel
