Audeze Maxwell Review: A Fantastic Headphone Makes for a GREAT Gaming Headset!

Audeze Maxwell long term review!

I LOVE planar magnetic headphones, and I’ve been a long-time fan of Audeze. Maxwell has been out for a little while now, and taking a good long listen, I think I FINALLY have a replacement for my Mobius gaming headset.

Maxwell is something special… Continue reading “Audeze Maxwell Review: A Fantastic Headphone Makes for a GREAT Gaming Headset!”

Pixel Watch 2 vs OnePlus Watch 2 vs TicWatch Enduro Long Term Comparison: The “OTHER” Wear OS Smartwatches!

If you’re shopping a full featured smartwatch (especially in North America) chances are pretty good the bulk of sales are going to Apple and Samsung. However, if you want more features than on a fitness tracking watch, there are a handful of other players to consider.

The Other Brands

We’re going to take a look at three players for this comparison:

These are premium options, that each run a full build of Wear OS (built on Android), and are capable of installing a wide variety of apps. They differ from fitness tracking watches in having more robust software and better support for rich notifications and replies. They are more powerful “wrist computers”, but that often means they will get poorer battery life than fitness trackers. CCA Rhapsody Earbuds Review: A Tuning Gimmick?

CCA Rhapsody Review!

CCA delivers some fun experiments, often packing a crazy number of drivers in an earbud case. Rhapsody take this idea to another level, with hardware switches to TUNE all the drivers inside.

Is this something folks are going to use? Let’s take a look! Continue reading “CCA Rhapsody Earbuds Review: A Tuning Gimmick?”

Your Phone COULD Be Your Laptop! NexDock XL Review!

NexDock XL review! It’s the BIG one!

A portable monitor is one of the BEST accessories you can invest in for ALL your other gadgets and computers. My favorite flavor of the portable monitor is the LapDock. Combining a screen, keyboard, track pad, battery, and ports into one convenient travel shell.

It LOOKS like a laptop, but it’s a dock! The NexDock XL brings a bigger screen to the party, but thankfully the price isn’t any bigger!

Let’s take a look! Continue reading “Your Phone COULD Be Your Laptop! NexDock XL Review!”

Surface Laptop 7 Review: Don’t Buy it for the AI…

Surface Laptop 7 Review!

The AI is the LEAST interesting part of all these new PC’s. Spending a month with the Surface Laptop, it’s been refreshingly well behaved. Taking it on an international trip, and then using it while recovering from Covid, it’s maybe the best Windows laptop I’ve ever used. It delivers on some key promises that I think a LOT of consumers will appreciate. There are precious few compromises asked of the user for switching to an ARM architecture.

So why all the gnashing of teeth? Why are so many tech bros trying to find deal breakers?

When will AMD and Intel launch actual competitors for X Elite? Continue reading “Surface Laptop 7 Review: Don’t Buy it for the AI…”

OnePlus Watch 2R First Look: No Compromises Here!

OnePlus Watch 2R first look!

Getting this new watch up and running, I’m already really excited about what OP is bringing to the table. It’s selling at a lower price, but what compromises did OnePlus need to make?

Geekom XT13 Pro Review: A Tiny PC that Packs a Core i9 Punch!

Geekom is back with another MIGHTY MOUSE PC!

We recently looked at the A8 which had an AMD Ryzen 9. Similar form factor, but there are a lot more differences than I was expecting.

We’re seeing a run on current gen Intel and AMD hardware, with some awesome sales. Who’s the right fit for Intel’s most powerful laptop CPU in a tiny box? Let’s take a look! Continue reading “Geekom XT13 Pro Review: A Tiny PC that Packs a Core i9 Punch!”

Unihertz 8849 Tank 3S: They Said it Was Smaller…

A follow up to my Tank 3 Pro review, the folks at Unihertz sent over the Tank 3S, which they claimed was a SMALLER version of the phone. I guess if I squint a bit, I could see how this might be a little smaller?

This thing is an APPLIANCE!
