Surface Laptop 7 FIRST REACTIONS!

I’ve spent LESS than a day with the new Microsoft Laptop with a Snapdragon X Elite SOC, and I already have a LOT of thoughts! Let’s look at the setup and some early performance tests. It’s the MOST expensive laptop Microsoft sells!

Is this the Windows on ARM revolution YOU’VE been waiting for?

Gamesir X4 Aileron Phone Controller Review! No Backbone Needed!

Gamesir X4 Aileron Review!

I’m not the biggest fan of backbone style controllers. They don’t often fit the phones I like the most, especially the phones with BIG cameras. Gamesir is trying to make the “cradled” controller more flexible, but getting rid of the spine! Here’s a quick look at the X4!

Let’s play! Continue reading “Gamesir X4 Aileron Phone Controller Review! No Backbone Needed!”

OnePlus 12 Camera Conclusion: Like The OnePlus Open, but Less Expensive!

The OnePlus 12 has INCREDIBLE cameras for its price! It’s nearly identical to the performance of the more expensive OnePlus Open, and it gives iPhone Pro and Galaxy Ultra phones a run for their (higher) money. Here’s a quick look at what this phone can do!

Geekom A8 Mini PC Review: A Ryzen 9 8945HS in a TINY Shell!

Though she be but little, she is FIERCE!

Geekom updated their newest mini PC frame with an AMD 8945HS! This thing is a BEAST. CPU and GPU performance are very similar to the last gen 7940HS laptop chip, but now with a bit more NPU “AI” performance.

Funnily enough, it seems Microsoft is throwing AMD and Intel under the bus. NONE of the current “AI” PCs sold are powerful enough to earn the new “CoPilot+” branding. Still, with a more powerful NPU, we can see some great improvements to content creation and video editing plugins.

Who knows, maybe you don’t want that new Microsoft Recall feature on your system anyway? Continue reading “Geekom A8 Mini PC Review: A Ryzen 9 8945HS in a TINY Shell!”

Acemagic AD08 Mini PC Review: Is a Core i9 Wasted Here?

Acemagic AD08 Review is FINALLY done!

This was a seriously delayed video for me. Dealing with malware, and taking more time to carefully clean out the computer, I’ve talked about this experience a lot already. Still, there’s a box with a processor in it, and there’s still a question I need to answer.

Is a Core i9 overkill in a system like this? Continue reading “Acemagic AD08 Mini PC Review: Is a Core i9 Wasted Here?”

Saramonic Blink500B2+ Review: Least Expensive Wireless Microphones I’ve Ever Reviewed…

They’re inexpensive, but are they any good?

This is a REALLY flexible setup for some wireless mics, and the price looks good. Using them in the GadgetLab, and taking them out to shoot with my Vivo X100 Pro, do they sound good?

That’s the most important part of a mic… That it sounds good… Continue reading “Saramonic Blink500B2+ Review: Least Expensive Wireless Microphones I’ve Ever Reviewed…”

TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro: A Small Refresh to a Nice Wear OS Watch

TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro Review!

Aaaaaand it’s basically a TicWatch Pro 5, with a little bit of hardware nudge.

The newest Wear OS watch from Mobvoi is not a radical hardware change. Where Xiaomi, Oppo, and Google are only just catching the tech on the Pro 5, the Enduro is move towards slightly better efficiency and fancier build materials. It’s still a TicWatch though, and while some of the software situation has improved, we still need to chat about updates… Continue reading “TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro: A Small Refresh to a Nice Wear OS Watch”
