#SGGQA 053: Netflix Ads, FCC Hearing, Mate 20 Notch, ISPs Want More Public Money but No Regulations – Monday Morning Tech Chat

So. Google clarifies their tracking scandal! Netflix is adding commercials to your TV binging! Huawei’s Mate 20 will have a smaller notch! We should all have 4K displays on our phones! Project Fi will end support for text forwarding! The FCC faced ZERO repercussions for lying about DDOS attacks.

And a special cranky political rant about ISPs wanting more public funds for broadband, but fighting any public regulations.

Raven Dash Camera Review: Make Your Car Smarter! LTE Connected Car Computer!

Chances are pretty good that your car is dumb. Not that I don’t like your car, but it’s probably not “smart” like a “smartphone”.

What if you could add a heads up display, with cameras, and connect your car to an app on your phone over LTE? The Raven claims to do just that, without breaking the bank.

Smartphones in 2018 SUCK for gaming! Change My View?

I don’t like bezel-less designs for phones. They’re pretty, but I don’t think they’re very practical. Lately, I’ve also run into a problem. No borders makes holding a phone AND playing a game VERY problematic. I like gaming on my phone, but not when my thumbs cramp after 10 minutes. How are you folks doing this?
