The challenge is over! TK Bay and I had a debate over two of our favorite phones of 2018 so far. If we traded our top picks, would I be able to convince TK that the G7 was the superior phone? Would he convince me to switch to a P20 Pro?
Well we’ve swapped back, and I gotta say, I’m SO happy to have the G7 back…
A quick bit of accessory fun, the BenQ ScreenBar lamp was a neat find. Like a soundbar, but mounted to the top of your computer monitor, it washes your desk in light, without dumping a ton of glare on your monitor. I love finding fun accessories. Let’s take a look! Launching a new audio brand in 2018 is tough, especially going after a premium price. Audeara has a hook for their A-01 Bluetooth headphones though. My P20 Pro camera review is live! “PureView” returns to HMD! Huawei has been kicked out of Australia! Google France kills their Google+ page! And a VERY special block of Net Neutrality news following the Firefighters in California getting throttled by Verizon.

So. Google clarifies their tracking scandal! Netflix is adding commercials to your TV binging! Huawei’s Mate 20 will have a smaller notch! We should all have 4K displays on our phones! Project Fi will end support for text forwarding! The FCC faced ZERO repercussions for lying about DDOS attacks.
And a special cranky political rant about ISPs wanting more public funds for broadband, but fighting any public regulations.
