TONS of news this week!
It cost Big Tech companies BILLIONS to lay off so many people, but rich people got richer! An ISP lied about broadband coverage to block funding to rivals. The US is cracking down harder on Huawei, banning more tech. Jony Ive designed the Red Nose this year, and it is kind of stunning. Samsung profits fell almost 70%, and this year looks difficult too.
And we HAVE to talk about a PAIR of awesome new phones out RIGHT NOW! Poco X5 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro are GO!

Vivo X90 Pro first impressions!
This is one of the first phones to move to a proper 1″ type sensor! This is a HUGE step for mobile photography and video. More important than adding more megapickles, a bigger sensor dramatically changes the look of your content. I’ve had it for ONE DAY, so here are some EARLY EARLY thoughts about the phone, the camera, and this new MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SOC.

Surface Pro SQ3 long term review!
Windows on Arm is looking REALLY good! I’m wrapping up my time with the Pro 9 and testing the Qualcomm chip powering this tablet. It’s a REALLY fun tablet, and I’m going to be sad to see it go.
