Moto Edge Plus 2022: A Powerhouse Work Phone, but is it Fun?

Moto Edge+ review!

Moto is delivering a fantastic option for productivity. This is one of the most flexible phones of the year. Very little will make this phone blink. If you need to get work done, Moto’s reputation is solid, but what about the fun stuff? Continue reading “Moto Edge Plus 2022: A Powerhouse Work Phone, but is it Fun?”

RedMagic 7 Pro Gaming Review: Doing what other phones can’t…

RedMagic 7 Pro performance tests!

A gaming phone should be able to do  things that other phones can’t do. The 7 Pro is an exotic solution for  squeezing out ALL the performance of a high end phone. In my first look  at the RedMagic, let’s chat about the performance claims, and see if  this beast can keep up with portable console gaming experiences!

Galaxy S22 Ultra: The Productivity Champ of 2022 (Part 2 of 2)

Note 22 review!

Wrapping up our two-part look at Samsung, we’ve covered some lows. Now we get to talk about some highs.

The entire consumer electronics industry is in a rough spot for components and distribution. It’s refreshing to see a slate Samsung phone deliver a unique vibe. This isn’t an “average” all rounder phone. This is built with purpose and for a specific kind of user.

If it waddles like a Note, and quacks like a Note, and S-pens like a Note, then it’s a Note. This phone is a Note, and I love it.

Galaxy S22: A Phone to Skip (Samsung in 2022 Part 1 of 2)

The Galaxy S22 is a mediocre option for a premium tier phone.

If you’re going to spend a lot on a phone, this aint it. I have a lot of really complicated feelings about smartphones in general and Samsung specifically. Let’s break down our options.

Where might someone get a better bang for their gadget buck?

Samsung DeX CAN replace a laptop, but it needs your help…

DeX rocks.

A desktop mode on a phone is a crown jewel feature. It’s a disruptive way to use a smartphone. We CAN replace the need for other computers and tablets. However, these features WON’T get better if we don’t use them.

The conversation matters, and sharing these experiences might help save someone a LOT of money they don’t need to spend.

TCL 30V: One Month with Verizon’s Cheapest 5G Phone

TCL 30V review!

Using this phone for a month, it’s been an interesting  exercise in balancing cost against performance. It gets crazy fast 5G  data (in some areas), but it’s not the most powerful phone I’ve ever  used.

Where does this fit for someone shopping a good deal on the  Verizon network?
