The highest compliment I can pay a manufacturer, that a new phone is improved enough to warrant replacing last year’s model. This question is even more difficult to answer when talking about OnePlus. This brand has built a solid reputation for top tier performance. The 6T can still outperform current Exynos Galaxy phones.

T-Mobile Revvlry+ Review: Don’t Make THAT Face! It’s a GOOD Phone!

In-between reviewing premium EXPENSIVE phones, you’d think a $350 STORE brand device would stand out in a bad way. Thankfully T-Mobile’s Revvl refresh stacks up well to the competition. Obviously not a phone for “power users”, but at least you won’t need to make a face if your Mom buys one without asking you first!

Sony Xperia 1 Camera Conclusion! 3 Cameras, 2 Apps, and a REAL Pro Mode!

I’ve had a love/hate relationship with past Sony phone cameras, but this year Sony’s marketing tone changed dramatically. This year Sony pulled a significant 180. This year Sony’s doing something just a bit different. It’s not perfect. It’s not seamless.

But it makes me REALLY happy.

Android 10 on the Google Pixel 3a – Living up to Promises and Expectations

Yesterday was Android 10 day! A flurry of podcasts, articles, and videos hit the web showing off the official release of Google’s newest phone operating system. I joined the fun talking about Android’s native Desktop Mode on a OnePlus 7 Pro Open Beta, but yesterday was all about Google’s Pixel. Very few other manufacturers can match the update speed of a first party Hardware + Software solution.

Lot’s of manufacturers make promises about support, and few live up to those promises. Google has had a solid track record with support so far, we all remember the Nexus too, but this year represented two important milestones for the brand.
