Ringke Pixel Watch Case Review: A little protection helps…

I’m spending a little time with the Pixel Watch, and I will be getting a proper review out soon. One of the things slowing me down, I’m terrified to use this watch out and about. The design is pretty, but the curved glass along all sides isn’t inspiring a lot of confidence.

It’s a rule I have for reviewing phones. I can’t really get a handle on USING the phone unless I have a case for it. Phone design is irrelevant. There. I said it.

When factoring in minute differences between glass on glass sandwich gadgets, a fraction of a millimeter of bezel, or an edge of a sidewall taper, manufacturers have largely agreed on what a modern smartphone should resemble.

That aesthetic is incomplete.

We want a daily driver phone, able to survive lifestyle abuse. To make our phone functionally usable in the real world, without having to baby it, you have to “finish” the phone hardware on your own dime.

Urban Armor Gear Rugged Phone Case Review Round Up

The folks at UAG heard about my experiences wrecking a Galaxy Note 5 and took pity on me. It would be more accurate to say they took pity on my other review gadgets, and they sent over a trio of rugged bumper cases.

Checking out solutions for the Galaxy S6 Edge+, Apple iPhone 6S, and LG V10, it was interesting seeing which phones needed more protection, and which phones felt like this case might be overkill. Here are full reviews for all three cases!
