#SGGQA 308 Special Edition: How I Became a Samsung HATER (and YOU can TOO!)

Happy Monday!

While traveling, I’ve pre-recorded this podcast in advance of this week’s Samsung Unpacked event. A bit serious and a bit tongue in cheek, here’s how I transitioned from die-hard Samsung Knight to insufferable hater.

I often pick on the most toxic members of a brand’s fandom, but I haven’t done a great job of explaining how I got here.

Let’s get our tech week started right!

Google is looking to ditch Samsung for a future Tensor chip. Scientists believe we might have found evidence of alien intelligence here on Earth. I spent some time reviewing the Sony AX7 Portable Speaker system.

And I want to spend a little time in the SomeGadgetGuy mailbag!

All About Android Ends… Saying Goodbye to One of My Favorite Geek Podcasts…

This has been a tough couple of weeks for some of my favorite social media sites, and now I’m sitting in my kitchen getting weepy over one of my favorite podcasts signing off for the last time.

You can always get a feel for when a show you enjoy might be on its way out, but it still hits hard when they finally pull the plug.

After 635 episodes, All About Android is ending its run on the TWiT network of podcasts.

AAA was one of my most consistently listened to podcasts. It was one of my favorite talk shows to have on in my car, sitting in LA traffic. The hosts’ voices (especially Jason, Ron, and Flo) will be burned into my brain for the rest of my life.
