#SGGQA 132: RIP Blackberry Mobile, GOP vs Encryption, Samsung Z Flip Leaks

The FCC has concluded carriers illegally sold your data, but they probably won’t do much to punish them. The EU overwhelmingly votes in favor of a universal phone charger. Law enforcement can easily crack most iPhones, but the GOP still wants to end encryption for consumers. Folks are going deaf at a shocking rate, but little is being done to help people protect their hearing.

The Moto RAZR is too fragile to be displayed at Wal-Mart. The Samsung Z Flip leaks ahead of its press event.

#SGGQA 131: Right to Repair in WA, USB-C iPhones, Moto Bumps and Lumps

The US military is starting to advocate for Right to Repair legislation. Washington State examines right to repair. The EU considers a law forcing companies to use USB-C for chargers, but Apple claims that will stifle innovation. Motorola is trying to prepare consumers for FRAGILE folding phones.

And Microsoft is rolling out developer tools for dual screened hardware!

The FBI has cracked an iPhone 11, but the Justice Department is still pressuring Apple to unlock iPhones. The EU is still looking to force manufacturers into using a universal charging cable. Google is detailing the end of Chrome Apps.
