I’m a HUGE advocate for portable monitors, lapdocks, and XR glasses. I think a portable monitor of SOME KIND, is the single best accessory you can add to enhance the use of a FAMILY of other gadgets. I also have almost NO interest in taking these kinds of products wireless.

UPerfect X14 Pro Wireless LapDock: Can we FINALLY cut the cable?

UPerfect X14 Pro review!

I’m a huge fan of lapdocks and portable displays. The X14 Pro is a great example of a portable battery powered display, and it adds one HIGHLY requested feature. Folks asking for wireless connectivity, we can now connect phones and computers to this dock WITHOUT a cable.

What does that really look like though? Is it as functional as we’ve been hoping? What about the battery life?

UPerfect X Pro in 2022: The 4K Follow Up!

UPerfect X Pro revisited!

I reviewed this monitor almost exactly a year ago, but it’s worth taking a quick second look now! Now that the 4K version is a little less expensive than the original 1080p’s launch price, it changes the “bang for buck” conversation.

UPerfect X Pro UDock Review: Your Phone IS a Computer!

Desktop modes are excellent features on our phones. The trouble is finding good hardware to USE the desktop mode. If you have to fire up a whole other computer, why use the desktop mode?

A laptop dock might be the right fit for you. A larger screen, a proper keyboard and trackpad, the ability to attach other USB accessories.
