Making a comparison between the main cameras on the Vivo X200 Ultra and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is really tricky. It’s easier to compare when a lot of the specs are similar. When we change camera sensors sizes AND equivalent focal lengths, it’s a lot to balance.
Still, if I have a BIGGER sensor on the Xiaomi, will it match the Vivo if I crop a photo to a similar field of view? Let’s take a look!

It’s easily one of the best camera specialist phones of the year, but Xiaomi has made some compromises to the Ultra to keep prices in check. It’s a powerhouse collection of photography technologies, but it’s a very different feel from previous Xiaomi Ultras.
Still, it’s an easy recommend for someone who wants to get more out of a phone camera. If you’re interested in driving a phone camera harder, this just might be the phone for you!

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra Photography Kit is here! I feel we can REALLY begin on the Ultra now.
Xiaomi made a splash with the 13 Ultra, introducing a first party camera case and accessory system. It was super functional, but not as durable as I hoped it would be.
Now, two generations later, has Xiaomi addressed the issues we had with the first kit? Can our phones be handled like “legit” cameras now?
