Help SomeGadgetGuy: What’s Your Favorite Cooking/Recipe App?

jalepeno pepper macro picShort and sweet folks. I love cooking. I love tech. I’m looking to combine those passions more, so:

What’s your favorite app to help you manage your kitchen activities?

Make sure you list what platform it works on too.
We’ll collect the list and write it up on Monday!

  1. Two of my favorites apps are:

    Bing Food & Drink
for Wp8 & Surface RT What a great app that i discovered not to long ago. I Love how this app syncs with my phone & Laptop. Select a meal on my RT, it creates a shopping list for recipe or any list. I go to store and the list is on my phone. Lots more too like.

stuff like that is priceless. well, for me anyways.

    All Recipes
Wp8 & Surface RT also a must have, but I wished this app synced between my surface rt & phone.

  2. Hi Juan! Our app is awesome — it’s called Cookbook Cafe (for iPad) and we were just honored with a Webby!

Our platform allows anyone to create their own cookbook as a web-based ebook and ipad app for free and even sell it. The app is also a cookbook reader with a nifty search so you don’t have to remember what cookbook a particular recipe was in.

You can find out more by going to http://cookbookcafe.com or at http://BakeSpace.com where you make the cookbooks. Let me know if you have any questions.. happy to help!

  3. I’m a big fan of the Allrecipes app myself. I love looking up something random and going through the different recipes, then after choosing a recipe, going through the comments to see different people’s variations.
