  1. OMG YES!!!! You are seriously the first podcaster I’ve heard mention the laws banning municipal broadband, much less discuss the shockingly high lack of access in this country at length. It’s beyond me why we are not screaming about this from the rooftops. If you’re ever bored enough I could tell you a tale of how I’ve spent the last 8 years butting my head against this very wall. There are days when I believe I’ve literally gone crazy because of the general apathy concerning this topic on both a public and governmental level. This is a huge issue that should be highlighted as a national embarrassment. It holds so many of us back on so many levels.
