There’s a LOT of tech news firing up around the web! Reddit’s moderators are pulling popular subreddits down in protest of API changes. Twitter still refuses to pay their bills. Tesla’s autopilot might be responsible for more accidents than previously thought. YouTube has stopped removing misinformation about the last election. We say goodbye to Blue Microphones.
And we can dig into some of the rumors about the upcoming Pixel 8!

I ran a little tech enthusiast subreddit built around the idea of sharing content that deserved more attention. I held out til the last minute to see if Reddit would reverse course on their API plans.
It breaks my heart to announce we’ll be shuttering this little tech fan sharing space.

I’m not fond of defending Samsung on this blog, and shortly after I publish this, I’ll go back to criticizing their anti-consumer business strategies. However, this yearly trend of judging phone “value” by looking at a parts list is a ludicrously stupid exercise that primes consumers for horrifically unrealistic expectations.
My editorial here holds true for iPhones, Motos, OnePluses, Sonys, Xiaomis, Vivos, and every other brand under the sun, but we’re going to focus on the Galaxy Note 23, as the most recent addition to this moronic trend.
